Richard Oakes

Richard Oakes is our associate minister.

Richard is our associate minister, and is involved in preaching, pastoral care, counselling, and working with seniors.

Richard has been in ministry for 30 years, in Tweed Heads / Coolangatta, Asquith, and now North Turramurra. Richard is married to Janet, and they have two children.

Being at North Turramurra Church of Christ has been like joining up with a long lost extended family for Richard. "The people ... are warm, welcoming and generous and I feel very much at home. It is a diverse family with many gifted and busy people from around Australia and the world, but they make time to welcome you and support you."

Richard works part time at North Turramurra Church of Christ. He is also involved in teaching English and literacy to prison inmates.
